The Style Quantum Leap

I have nothing to wear

I stare into my closet and don’t feel like wearing any of it. And I feel guilty about what I’ve spent on certain things. What was I thinking?

Shopping is difficult

I keep buying things that don’t work for my coloring, my body, or the activities of my life. Or, I walk out of stores sad and empty-handed.

I feel frumpy!

I want to look my best, but I keep wearing the same jeans or yoga pants and a hoodie every day. And when it is time to wear something more professional, I feel confused and a little awkward.

It is time

to quantum leap into your authentic style.

Mark Twain said, “clothes make the [person]; naked people have little or no influence on society.”

Typical Mark Twain — it’s funny because it’s true.

And unfortunately, as professional women who want to wield influence, we can struggle with this all our lives.

There’s no set “uniform” in many industries and workplaces. Even if there is a certain standard of what we’re expected to wear, figuring out how to make it work for us can be daunting. Or if we do have a uniform, then we don’t feel like we know what to wear when we’re not at work.

We all know that first impressions count. We also know that when we are looking our best, we feel better about ourselves.

So why do we resort to wearing clothes we don’t like at work, and clothes we don’t like outside of work, while our closets are overstuffed with clothes we don’t wear?

Here’s why.
At the heart of our self-image and what-to-wear problem is a deeper conflict within our identity.

On some level, many of us have absorbed the message that we need to be somebody else in order to be safe or to be taken seriously.

Or we might fantasize about reinventing ourselves in a different life, and buy clothes as a means of emotional escape that represent that fantasy, but since they don’t jive with our deeper self-image, we end up not wearing them.

Or, we might already have plenty of clothes that are perfect for us, but we aren’t wearing them because on some level we think we don’t deserve to look our best or stand out.

Image Consulting and Personal Style that goes Deeper

Personal style is not just an exercise in consumerism or vanity. I agree with Mark Twain — your clothes not only say a lot about you, they reflect and influence your self-image!

Personal style holds the key to your authentic, most powerful self. It’s a reflection of what is going on in your heart and mind, and it is a powerful means to become who you are meant to be. And when you’re there, you’re unstoppable. The world is your oyster.

Audrey Hepburn famously said, “happy girls are the prettiest.” But if you’re like many women, Audrey Hepburn’s advice seems easier said than done. If that’s you, I can help.

I created the Style Quantum Leap program because so many women try to improve their self-image or find their personal style without addressing the deeper issues underlying these dilemmas, which doesn’t work.

What is unique about my method is that it combines multiple style and color discovery strategies, my background dressing many women of all shapes as a costume designer and experienced seamstress, the principles of Feminine Energy, and Deep Dive ™ Coaching.

Deep Dive ™ Coaching gets past your conscious mind’s beliefs and limitations to transform your identity and behavior. It’s the most intuitive, laser-sharp, cut-to-the-chase — yet safe and loving — coaching you can find.

When you work with me to discover and refine your personal style, your transformation will be faster — and permanent.

You deserve it. Let’s do it!
